Bicycle Crunches is the fourteenth chapter of the manga Dumbbell Nan-Kilo Moteru?.

Characters

Plot

The sports festival track race begins with both Akemi and Hibiki placed as anchors for their classes in the relay. Hibiki expresses doubt she can beat Akemi, since she beat the track team last year. In a flashback, we see Machio training Hibiki with bicycle crunches.

During the race, the baton drops during the changeover, though Hibiki picks it back up and completes the race. However, due to a technicality, she is disqualified. Hibiki is disappointed that she didn't run as she put so much effort into training.
